Covid-19 Coronavirus.
Insurance Transformation Summit organiser statement and company policy.
Insurance Transformation Summit 2020 is actively and continuously monitoring the Covid-19 Coronavirus outbreak, in line with local and national authorities and alongside our venue partner.

Insurance Transformation Summit 2020 will take place as currently scheduled.

We are of course aware of other events being cancelled and postponed throughout Europe. The circumstances behind each of these decisions to date by their respected organisers, would not compromise the production of Insurance Transformation Summit 2020.

The following measures are in place to ensure the event will proceed as planned and to ensure the best possible event experience for all of our stakeholders:

Attendance Numbers
An emphasis on quality of connection and stakeholders present, over quantity, has always been the focus for Insurance Transformation Summit. Attendance levels will be capped for both days of the show to ensure the comfort of all participants at a level that minimises the risk and below that which could be considered a “large private gathering”.

Foreign Visitors
The Insurance Transformation Summit audience is predominantly UK focused so we do not anticipate the reduction in foreign travel to affect the event significantly.

Attendee Refunds
All paying attendees will be offered a full refund in the run-up to the show should they contract Covid-19 Coronavirus and are unable to attend the event.

Speaker Line-Up
A number of potential replacement speakers will be provisionally booked should any of our line-up not be able to attend.

In the interests of those who feel uncomfortable with shaking hands in the current climate, all attendees are asked to refrain from doing so at the event.

Our onsite security team will be present throughout the show. Anyone suspected of having the virus on arrival to Insurance Transformation Summit will not be allowed to enter.

Our venue partners have a plan in place to help manage the threat of Covid-19 Coronavirus. This includes the training of staff to recognise the symptoms, extra hand sanitiser gel being made available throughout the venue and a first aid room to contain anyone who suspects they may be suffering from the effects of Coronavirus.

Finally, if you have any concerns that you may get caught up in an inbound or outbound quarantine, or are feeling unwell, you may want to reconsider your attendance to Insurance Transformation Summit.

We strongly urge our exhibitors and visitors to refer to the guidelines and protocols as suggested by the WHO and local /national public health authorities to contain and mitigate against any further spread of the virus.
